This class is a 12-step session using 40 head and
face points for inner and outer beauty.
Many of the meridians pass through the neck and

This 40-hour program will introduce the Extraordinary Channels. We will
learn acupressure theory, Taoist breathing techniques and exercises.

these six days you will learn 55 points and give and receive acupressure
sessions.

will gain an understanding of the segments of the body, and skills to help
with releasing the muscular tension or armoring, as well as
Bodymind™ counseling
skills to deal with emotional release.
A required text is "Acupressure way of Health" by
Iona Teeguarden.
Two booklets and an acupressure chart are included.

In this class we will learn 55 more acupoints that relate to the 12 organ
meridians and gain an understanding of the different emotions related to the

and Yang partners within each element.
Assessment tools such as pulse
reading, physiogamy and Shu point exploration will deepen our skills as
practitioners.
Five Element theory and balancing the energies within them,
will be learned through the use of Luo points. Two booklets are included.

class begins with a review of the shu, luo and source points from the
Intermediate class to balance out between the Yin and Yang partners of
each element.
We will
learn the Tonification and Sedation points to move energy between the
elements.
Understanding the breeding and control cycle and use of the 5 elements
theory in assessing energic and emotional imbalance. As well windows to
the sky points and creating individual releases based on assessment
through pulses and Shu and Mu point tensions.

100 HOURS OF MODALITY TECHNIQUE

This class provides an opportunity to
review point locations and angles, and to integrate the material of
Module I, plus an in-depth study of Strange Flows, Organ Meridians, Zang/Fu,
Segments and Five Phases, along with additional theories and special
point groups. The bodymind focus of this class varies from teacher to
teacher.
Prerequisite: Module I, or the
equivalent
(Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced JSD
with authorized JSD teachers)
Objectives: participants learn to:
- Demonstrate assessment skills
including pulse reading and point palpation.
- Describe the 8 Strange Flows in
detail and compare with the 12 meridians.
- emonstrate use of acupressure and
body focus-ing techniques with common tension/pain problems.
- Describe special point groups:
combining, entry-exit, general and group lo, and accumulation
points.
- Integrate Segmental, Strange
Flow, Meridian and 5 Phases theories in designing sessions to
reduce stress.
- Discuss the Zang/Fu, the 6
Divisions, exogenous and endogenous causes of imbalance (including
the extreme emotions), and tendino-muscular meridians.
